8th day of trying this out..So I am a week into it and have started thinking about a purpose to it. My ideas are recipes, fitness goals, new places and activities in Montana and of course the biggest change in this upcoming year, home schooling. Tip of the day, don’t worry about always knowing the purpose of something but it will be shown to you in due time.
After spending time today with other children, I see the value of education. And when there is a lack of parents involvement, the child suffers. To give your children your time and a good foundation, you are setting them up for success. Tip of the day, a good education is priceless and a lack of one is costly.
Today is my 6th day of blogging. Today’s topic is friendships. Starting new friendships because I am still new to the area and cherishing ones I have had for many years. A friend you have had for many years is so comforting and it makes you thankful. Starting new friendships is fun and exciting. Tip for today, give it all you can and put yourself out there. Take a risk and it may turn out to be the best thing you did.
Day 5 of blogging.. Tip of the day, don’t feel obligated or bad for doing what makes you happy. You can not or should not waste your time on others. Enjoy your day and seize the moment.
Day 4 of blogging and it is becoming a part if my daily routine. I like it. Today I relaxed and read a lot. It was book club night. I love to read but do not always have the time. But when I do, I love it. Tip of the day, never stop reading and the love of reading. Encourage others to love it too.
Day 3 of trying a blog. Life in Montana has been a lot of fun this summer. So much to see and do. The obvious is Glacier Park but our favorite spot so far has been Tally Lake. It is ideal for children. Along with many family activities, I am enjoying getting to know other ladies and making friends here. Tonight I am going to a party and making my signature cookie. I love making it.It is peanut butter fluff cookies. Tip of the day, find a signature recipe that you love and make it yours. Friends will enjoy it and know that it is your signature food item.
So here is day two of this blogging journey. I said yesterday that part of this is trying new things and I did today. I went to my 1st rodeo and loved it!! It was exciting and fun. After coming home from a long day at the state fair and rodeo, I made 5 pans of lasagna for dinner club exchange. Tip for busy moms, start or join one. You make the same dish for the amount of people in it and you come home with a variety of dinners pre made to put in the freezer.
I never thought about blogging much and not even sure of the purpose but want to give it a try for one year. Thoughts, tips, new places, new life and a new journey. So my thought for this day, 8/17/13, is never be afraid to try something new and if it is a success, great. If not, at least you can say you gave it a try. I would love to hear from people who have been doing this for awhile, what is the purpose? Thanks
